Anthony J. DeCecco Jr. is available to present on court and off court. His on court topic is “Drills for Any Number”. It’s an interactive presentation complete with music and unique, creative drills! His off court presentation is based on his latest book: “Whatever Makes You Happy” sub-titled: “Squeezing the Juice out of Life”. This presentation is geared toward anyone stuck in a rut, looking for direction, or just plain unhappy with what “Life” has to offer!

Life Lessons & Silver Linings
I come from a family of free-thinkers. My parents gave me supreme confidence, supporting almost everything I did. My Father was a Chemical Engineer who eventually moved into management. He taught through storytelling and I do the same. I’m a mix of scientist and psychologist… the best of both worlds. As I grew up I struggled to find my place in the world. Or any place for that matter. School was too boring and regimented, I wasn’t able to work for anyone else, and my individualism wasn’t paying dividends. It was like the world didn’t get the memo about how “special” I was and there wasn’t a place for me to land. I accidentally fell into teaching tennis and was able to create my own community where people are encouraged to be themselves. I often thought how much better it would be if people got paid in proportion to how much they were true to themselves. Later I developed a philosophy of “fun”. If it wasn’t fun, I wasn’t doing it! Then I discovered how to make anything and everything fun, no matter what it was that I was doing. This breakthrough led me to being more accepting of others and focusing on people’s strengths instead of their weaknesses. In addition, I have an insatiable appetite for learning and improvement. Lastly, I always look for the “Silver Lining” no matter what the situation!
